ALL MY LIES
The alternative rock singer Apricity has dropped a new song called “All My Lies” the first single from his upcoming EP which will be released in Spring 2021. And now her song is being played on radio stations across the globe.
Apricity was born in Scotland and now happily resides in Puslinch, Ontario. She was immersed in Musical Theatre from a young age, and as a child she performed on UK television show’s Fun Factory and High Summer Extra. Her passion and love of music never left and as an adult she is now trying to bring her dreams into vision, and vision into reality. A lover of the pop rock style, Apricity is influenced by artists such as Alanis Morissette, Garbage and Evanescence.
“My goal is to leave a sparkle with my music, everywhere I go. People are going to love you or hate you, so just keep doing what you do!”
The accompanying music video for “All My Lies” was filmed at Milton’s Country Heritage Park, a location that recreates rural life in 19th century Ontario. Scenes for the video were filmed at The Lucas Family Homestead, a reportedly haunted building constructed in the 1830s, while other scenes were shot at The Mayne Corners United Church, which was built in the 1870s.
“Between the setting, the costumes, the amazing talent, and the fact that we were filming in a legitimately haunted building, it all tied together to create something incredibly spooky and beautiful at the same time”
Now, on the cusp of what could be a big turning point in the singer’s life, she is nothing but grateful for the good fortune that has come her way so far.
